Welcome to Casa Umbra
This is a space dedicated to celebrating Umbria — the region where I was born, and the one I carry with me wherever I go.
Casa Umbra at the moment isn’t a store, a tour company, or a blog with an agenda. It’s a growing collection of stories, recipes, places, and moments that reflect the simple beauty of life in central Italy.

How it all started
I was born and raised in Assisi, Umbria, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and stone villages. A few years ago, I moved abroad for work — and that distance made me realize just how much my region meant to me. At first, I tried importing traditional Umbrian products. But I soon understood that I didn’t want Casa Umbra to be “just” a shop. Umbria deserves more than that.

Why Umbria?
Umbria is often called the “Green Heart of Italy”, and it truly lives up to that name. Tucked between Tuscany and Rome, it's often overlooked, but those who do visit quickly understand just how much it has to offer. Here, you’ll find authentic flavors, waterfalls, green hills, lake shores, medieval villages, and miles of scenic trails perfect for hiking, biking, and even rafting.

What Casa Umbra is about
Casa Umbra is a space to discover the real Umbria, piece by piece. Here, you’ll explore local recipes and ingredients, traditional festivals and customs, travel tips and hidden spots, stories of everyday life in Umbria, and more! Looking Ahead
Casa Umbra is still growing. Maybe one day it will become more — a place to stay, to taste, or to explore with local guides.
